TNS Consumer Goods (An APTIS Group Company) is currently hiring a Salesman to join its team!
WHO WE ARE
TNS Consumer Goods, an APTIS Group company, specializes in commercializing a wide range of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Mauritius including but not limited to, Personal Care, Energy Drinks, Organic Juices and Condoms.
The company aims at providing carefully selected quality products sourced from several international brands adapted to the needs of Mauritian families.
Some of the international brands distributed by TNS Consumer include but are not limited to: Clover, Danone, Kabisa, Activex, Duru, Blade, Emotion, Privacy, Arko and Love Condoms.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Role Purpose:
In this position, the role of the Salesman will be to find and win new customers, as well as look after existing customer accounts, making appointments with and meeting new customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maximize the visibility of Company products ensuring they are well displayed at all impulse locations in the stores.
- Strictly adhere to planograms and always adopt FIFO (First-In, First-Out) while merchandising them to minimize product quality issues.
- Build distribution of all Company brands & SKUs (Stock Keeping Unit) in all outlets he/she covers.
- Uphold the coverage plan while achieving the target.
- Achieve his/her sales targets consistently despite obstacles.
- Implement perfectly and immediately all consumer and trade promotions launched in his/her section
- Maintain the integrity of all company assets primarily the vehicle driven, tab, ETR machine and other signage or POS materials given
- Ensure accurate and timely cash collection per company policy; then deposit with the company cashier on daily basis.
- Build goodwill with the trade and exert all effort to help the trade resell our products prior to their expiry date.
- Adhere strictly to company pricing, offers, and discount strategies; always aiming to reduce investment levels in his/her section
- Be a master in persuasive selling and handling customer objections and endeavour always to respond to customer queries promptly
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Qualification: Higher School Certificate
- Experience: 2 years as Sales in FMCG
- Competencies: Excellent planning, organisation and communication skills
- Others: Holder of a valid manual driving licence
