Key/Primary Responsibilities


1. Account Management

  • Manage a portfolio of key clients with a focus on commercial deals and strategic account growth.
  • Monitor sales performance, develop accurate forecasts, and drive planning initiatives to meet targets.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure profitability.
  • Develop sales strategies and merchandising standards to optimize in-store execution.
  • Foster and enhance long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

2. People Management

  • Lead and manage team members by aligning personal and corporate objectives.
  • Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure team effectiveness.
  • Foster a motivated and committed team culture through rewards, skill development, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct regular training and workshops to enhance work practices and team capabilities.

3. Development Avenues

  • Collaborate with senior management on the formulation and implementation of strategies in related business areas.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and identifying new business opportunities.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Provide regular market activity reports and insights to senior management.
  • Prepare and deliver quarterly and annual presentations on Modern Trade performance, including sales analytics, brand tracking, key account reviews, and cost-benefit assessments.

Qualification & Education Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales
