The position acts as the central coordination point within the Sales team and provides the management with accurate, timely information and administrative support to enable efficient decision-making.
Job Description:
The Sales Support Officer ensures smooth commercial and administrative operations by supporting the Sales Team and the General Manager.
The role focuses on quotation preparation, tender administration, order processing, reporting, customer coordination, and cross-department communication (Production, Logistics, Finance, Quality).
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist customers by providing advice on Aqualia’s products and services.
- Respond to customer enquiries, manage complaints, and provide after-sales support.
- Support Indoor and Outdoor Sales Executives with administrative tasks.
- Follow up on quotations, tenders, pipelines, and customer requests.
- Prepare quotations and tenders and ensure they are submitted within the required timeframe.
- Maintain an organised register for tenders and assist with clarifications.
- Enter Sales Orders accurately in the ERP system.
- Follow up debtor accounts and prepare reports when required.
- Support the Management with sales customer reports.
- Assist the GM with administrative and commercial tasks as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Main Requirement:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good understanding of technical products (PVC/HDPE/DI) and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Navision preferred).
- Knowledgeable on the e-procurement system
- Strong teamwork and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability in handling sensitive information.
- Problem-solving ability and proactive follow-up mindset.
