Our client, in the distribution sector is seeking to recruit a Sales Administrator.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming telephone calls and redirect queries to the appropriate person or department.
- Issue invoices based on approved quotations.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) from invoices and ensure proper documentation.
- Oversee accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers.
- Coordinate delivery logistics with warehouse and transport partners.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, quotations, and client accounts.
- Support the sales team with order processing, documentation, and after-sales service.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor stock availability and follow up with the warehouse for dispatch readiness.
- Assist with preparation of sales reports and performance tracking.
- Handle administrative duties such as filing & correspondence.
Profile:
- Minimum HSC.
- Prior experience in sales administration, customer service, or logistics.
- Experience in the electrical goods industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Certificate of Character required.
