Xeinadin MRU Limited is recruiting experienced Senior Accountants to join our growing organisation. You’ll be self-motivated, meet tight deadlines, and bring strong interpersonal and supervisory skills, with a keen interest in understanding clients’ businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts from information and documentation received from clients, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met;
- Prepare financial statements with relevant notes as per FRS 102, ensuring compliance with corporate and statutory requirements;
- Balance sheet reconciliation, including maintenance of fixed asset register, VAT, prepayments and accruals, investments and loans amongst others;
- Prepare accurate and well elaborated working paper files;
- Help to identify, search and resolve complex accounting issues;
- To coach and assist junior staff members within the team;
- Training of new joiners to the team as and when required;
- Review of accounts and accounting tasks computed by junior staff;
- Communication with UK office regarding queries amongst others;
- Advise line manager of any outstanding issues and provide timely updates regarding accounts in progress.
Technical and Professional Requirements
- Strong and up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Qualified ACCA (or equivalent professional qualification).
- Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in company or asset sale/purchase due diligence is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a practice environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage Line 50, CCH Central, and Caseware.
Training:
Full training on all relevant software will be provided.
