The Sales Assistant is responsible to assist in the selling or leasing of new vehicles and to keep customer satisfaction maximized.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Ensure smooth day-to-day administrative and sales support operations.
- Assist in preparing and processing sales documentation in a timely manner.
- Support the sales team to reduce delays in the sales cycle.
- Verify accuracy of all sales documents, customer information, and vehicle details.
- Maintain high standards of data accuracy in CRM and reporting systems.
- Identify and correct errors proactively to avoid delays or compliance issues.
- Coordinate between sales representatives, management, and other departments.
- Track progress of deals to ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Ensure smooth handover of tasks and clear communication across teams.
- Support the sales team in delivering a seamless customer journey.
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ensure prompt response to customer inquiries and follow-ups.
- Accurately capture and update customer leads and sales data in CRM systems.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all transactions and interactions.
- Ensure proper filing and accessibility of documentation for audit and reference purposes.
- Take initiative to suggest improvements to processes and workflows.
- Resolve routine issues independently within defined guidelines.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of pre-owned vehicle makes, models, features, and specifications.
- Familiarity with automotive sales processes and dealership operations.
- Awareness of CRM systems and digital sales platforms.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written).
- Customer relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse customers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced showroom environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum HSC with other studies in sales or communication.
- 2 years of relevant work experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with computer applications and CRM systems.
- Proficient in French and English.
