Retail Manager (2519-RMGR)

Our client is seeking to recruit for a Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the Retail Chain by guiding the team members to deliver high standards of customer service. The candidate will report to the Head of Retail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all operational activities of the outlets.
• Guide the pharmacy teams to live and promote the company’s values and culture.
• Plan and ensure execution of strategic initiatives.
• Manage the pharmacies budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and profitability.
• Manage inventory level ensuring adequate stock of products and supplies while minimizing waste.
• Ensure that policies and procedures and applicable laws are applied in all retail outlets.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors and improve patient/customer care and experience.
• Provide guidance to team members to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure high standards of pharmaceutical care are always maintained.
• Lead and empower teams by evaluating, training and motivating them to achieve high level of performance.
• Prepare and analyse report on pharmacy operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Profile:

• Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, or Business Administration Management or equivalent.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Mauritius would be an advantage.
• At least 7 years experience in a retail or pharmaceutical sector.
