New Maurifoods Ltd, a company of the Eclosia Group, is recruiting a Research and Development Officer in the Marketing department. The R & D Officer will report directly to the Research and Development Coordinator and will provide day-to-day support across a range of R&D functions.
Main Responsabilities
• Conduct market researches and customer data gatherings
• Design and implement surveys to consolidate R&D plan
• Organise and follow up product testing in laboratory and devise tasting sessions for potential products
• Ensure close liaison with Suppliers, Quality Team and Production Team to materialise product development ideas into product launch
• Prepare costings on potential new products
• Give regular updates on product launch and other projects to Management
Candidate Profile
• Degree in Food Science or any other related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the food industry with a proven track record
• Innovative, self-starter, a finisher, inquisitive, positively curious and open-minded
• Able to achieve results within prescribed deadlines and works well with others
• Ability to cope with pressure, with excellent communication and organisational skills, and responsive to change
