Relationship Officer – Leasing

To manage customer relationships and sustain a portfolio of corporate & SME customers (including second hand and reconditioned car dealers) with specific focus on assets and building long term relationships.

Job Purpose:

To manage customer relationships and sustain a portfolio of corporate & SME customers (including second hand and reconditioned car dealers) with specific focus on assets and building long term relationships. To acquire new business and consolidate relationships with existing clients whilst expanding the portfolio and seek new opportunities for Cross Selling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop an intimate knowledge of the local market and conduct regular visits to dealerships, clients, and targeted companies with a view to retain existing business and establish new relationships.
• Provide efficient and effective business relationships with dealers and suppliers whilst performing follow up of client's applications for complete and timely delivery
• Provide timeous feedback to all stakeholders on all queries within agreed SLA’s including outstanding leads/queries.
• Communicate all key messages to internal stakeholders including agreed service standards and negotiated pricing with clients.
• Ensure completeness of client’s files aligned to company polices and regulatory requirements, to ensure timely decision-making process.
• Manage debtor’s portfolio on a monthly basis.

Candidate profile:

• A degree holder in marketing/business/management or sales related is preferable
• At least 3 -5 years relevant experience
• Sound Microsoft office skills
• Good communication skills (English and French)
• Thorough understanding of Financial and Banking industries
• Analytical skills to understand Financials
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Understanding of Regulatory guidelines and credit risk policies
• A broad understanding of policies and strategies within the country as they relate to the demands of the customer base
• Valid driving license
