As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the organization, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service.

 

As a receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the organization, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

You will handle a variety of administrative tasks, manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and provide excellent customer service. 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Front-desk management

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or person.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.

 2. Administrative Support

  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.

3.  Appointment Scheduling

  • Schedule appointments and meetings for staff members (with Company Doctor).
  • Maintain and update calendars to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are well-equipped, clean, and organized for scheduled meetings

4. Customer Service

  • Provide information to visitors and callers about the organization's products and services
  • Assist in resolving customer inquiries by directing them to the appropriate person.

 5. Communication

  • Communicate effectively with employees, clients, and visitors.
  • Relay important messages to the relevant individuals in a timely manner.

6. Security

  • Monitor and control access to the premises.
  • Issue visitor badges and maintain a visitor log.

7.  Office Stationery Management

  • Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies and stationery.
  • Distribute office supplies to staff as required.

PROFILE

  • Holder of Higher School Certificate with two credits.
  • Certificates in Front office or secretarial studies is most welcome.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in French and English both orally and in writing .
  • Good grooming and outgoing personality.
  • Open to Mauritian citizens only.
