Job Profile

Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for a Quantity Surveyor Coordinator to provide administrative support and to ensure smooth operations within the Quantity Surveying Team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
  • Draft letters and typing/photocopies of documents.
  • Prepare final accounts of clients.
  • Prepare contractual claims and follow up of status until determination of same.
  • Follow-up of tender reports.
  • Value subcontractors progress of works and prepare valuation certificates for payment.
  • Manage claims for work done and ensure invoices are submitted in time and payments are made.
  • Ensure incoming/outgoing telephone calls, faxes and emails are directed to the right destination in a timely manner.
  • Any other cognate duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holder of a Higher School Certificate.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

  • Familiarity with construction methods and materials.
  • Knowledge of data entry, database management, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Good written and verbal communication in both French and English.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to deal with clients, Architects, Engineers, and other construction professionals.
