To ensure quality control of laboratory for cement and concrete testing, to assist lab accreditation and lab auditing
To assist lab accreditation works and lab auditing preparations, to support R&D projects application and progress reports writing, to work on carbon emissions reduction.
MAIN Duties & Responsibilities
· Quality Assurance Compliance:
- Training for carrying out all standard tests in quality control lab and concrete lab;
- Assisting new products development with new admixtures and/or new raw materials;
- Coordination with production for new products trials related tasks;
- Liaise with external laboratories for inter-lab testing;
- Liaise with Head of Group Innovation Research & Development for any non-conformity on any results.
· Lab accreditation and auditing
- Assisting lab accreditation, including testing procedures files drafting, lab equipment and consumables inventory, etc;
- Assist arrangements for internal lab equipment calibration (quarterly) and MSB equipment calibration (yearly)
- Assisting lab yearly auditing for ISO.
· Reports and documents preparation
- Coordination on carbon emissions related files, such as Environmental Product Declaration or other carbon emissions calculation projects;
- Assist group carbon reduction roadmap documentation preparation;
- Provide lab test reports when instructed;
- Preparation of documentation for lab accreditation;
- Prepare R&D projects related reports;
- Prepare any other reports as requested by the Head of Group Innovation Research & Development.
· Health & Safety
- Complies with Health & Safety Management and abide by Group policies.
- Follow safety procedures when handling hazardous chemicals and operating laboratory equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace in R&D lab, QC lab, and concrete lab.
· Education Background
- Bachelor degree or above in Civil Engineering/ Materials science/ Environmental Engineering from local or oversea universities, or equivalent degree.
- Fluent in English, French both written and spoken
