Assist the Quality Manager in the management and implementation of the 5 management systems in place (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 45001)
Assist in the internal and external audits, prepare corrective action plans and ensure corrective actions are taken thereafter;
Carry out risk assessment/hazard analysis and act as Technical Secretary in management systems meetings;
Conduct gap analysis to ensure legal compliance;
Perform quality control checks on raw materials, intermediate products and finished products;
Assist in supervision of site maintenance team;
Attend meetings with management concerning issues related to food safety, quality, environment, health and safety;
Carry out on site inspections and deal with resolving complaints and non-conformances;
Provide on the job training, refresher training to employees on food safety, quality, environment and health and safety;
Profile
Holder of a Degree in Quality/Environment/ Sustainability or Chemical Engineering with at least 1 year experience in Food Industry;
Diploma or Certificate in Food Safety/Health & Safety will be an advantage;
Knowledge of Environment Protection Act, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001;
Excellent interpersonal, communication and good analytical skills with a pro-active, can-do and positive attitude;
Meticulous and organized approach;
Self motivated and able to deal with priorities;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential;
