Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Design
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand project objectives and functional requirements.
- Identify test scenarios and create test data to simulate real-world usage.
Test Execution and Defect Reporting
- Execute test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Document and report defects, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been resolved.
Test Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test results.
- Ensure that testing artifacts are up-to-date and accessible to the team.
- Collaborate with senior team members to identify potential challenges or issues that could impact the quality of software.
Your profile:
Hard skills:
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray).
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Competencies:
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Critical thinking and a passion for quality.
- API Testing knowledge will be a plus
- Automation testing experience will be plus
Certification(s):
- ISTQB Tester Foundation Level is a plus.
Languages:
- Proficiency in English & French (written and verbal).
