Our client in the medical sector is seeking to recruit a Purchasing & Procurement Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments.
- Track and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes.
- Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data.
Profile:
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
