To service, supply and maintain all the Hotel public/common areas including the Outlets, pools, offices.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To attend the duty on time in correct uniform and well-groomed.
  • Attend daily briefing at the beginning of each shift.
  • Be fully trained on Resort standards and procedures required to carry out daily tasks.
  • To follow the Resort’s key control policy.
  • Use and maintain all chemicals, supplies and equipment as per Resort standards.
  • Clean, service and maintain throughout the day the allocated section, area, Outlet, restrooms.
  • Make sure all furniture are kept up to standards and in the correct position.
  • Report any repairs to the supervisor in charge/Manager, Housekeeping/Executive Housekeeper.
  • Check all flowers arrangement and report flowers to be replaced to the Florist/Supervisor in charge.
  •  Clean, replenish and prepare all areas as per Resort standards.
  •  Clear and clean the stores, empty garbage.
  • Operate machinery and equipment according to Resort standards.
  •  Report lost and found articles as per Resort standards.
  •  Report unusual guest behavior or activities as per Resort standards.
  • Have thorough knowledge of the layout of the Resort, and all Housekeeping storage spaces with what they hold.
  • Follow Resort health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Attend training when required by the Resort.
  • Carry out any other job-related duties when requested by the Resort.
  • To be able to work on a rotating roster including morning, evening overnight weekends and public holidays.
  • To be flexible and work in different areas of the Housekeeping department as business requires.
  • Work as scheduled to a rotating roster will include morning shift, afternoon and evening shift and overnight shifts, this will also include weekends and public holidays (as per Mauritian Law).

About You

The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in the same role in an International Ultra-Luxury Resort and must be fluent in written and spoken English and French.
