The job incumbent will be responsible for the successful implementation of assigned projects and for the proper maintenance of all our retail facilities.
Responsibilities - Projects
- Assist the Head of Retail in the implementation of assigned projects
- Participate in the planning of resources needed for projects and in executing the company's projects
- Monitor and control projects ensuring efficient utilization of project resources
- Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones
- Prepare budget proposals and monitor assigned budgets for the different projects
- Act as a liaison and maintain professional relationships with all project stakeholders
- Assist the Head of Retail in managing change in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plan
Main Responsibilities – Facilities Management
- Ensure that all facilities are fully functional and maintained according to company requirements
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assists with checking installation and servicing of building equipment
- Oversee and supervise the quality of work of all contractors to ensure that all tasks are performed and completed to our required standards
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Maintain ongoing communication and relationship with contractors and suppliers
- Manage and review service contracts
Requirements
- BSc Management / Project Management
- A minimum of 3 years' experience
- A good understanding of the local business environment
- Sound knowledge of MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Detail oriented and able to solve problems proactively
- Skills in organising resources and establishing priorities
- Able to work independently and with minimal direction
- Able to multitask
