Job Profile
We are looking for a technically skilled and customer-focused Project Engineer (photovoltaic) who will resolve technical issues, assist installation teams, monitor system performance, and ensure optimal system operation for our clients.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for PV systems, including inverters, monitoring systems, and other components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose performance issues, faults, or system failures.
- Assist clients and field teams with system configuration and maintenance.
- Coordinate with engineering and installation teams for issue resolution and feedback.
- Monitor system performance using software platforms.
- Maintain documentation of service requests, issues resolved, and client communications.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and technical standards.
- Any other cognate duties may be assigned by the Head of Department.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in photovoltaic or related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
- Well versed in PV systems, inverters, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in CAD and PV modeling software is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and French.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
- Holder of a valid driving licence.
