Job Profile
Rey & Lenferna Ltd is looking for Project Engineers to ensure the proper planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of assigned projects and on-site activities.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and test electrical and allied systems such as fire alarms, CCTVs, low voltage feeders, MV substation, amongst others.
- Select materials and ensure their related approval and procurement.
- Prepare layout and schematic shop drawings to meet design requirements.
- Prepare and update project reports for real time follow-up by Management.
- Prepare detailed programme of works with key milestone for accurate progress monitoring.
- Assist Supervisors in weekly planning and progress reporting.
- Prepare cost reports to monitor actual costs vs budgeted costs.
- Prepare and keep update resource planning to achieve project deadlines.
- Ensure quality control in terms of drawings, materials, team’s skills, tools and equipment, amongst others, during the course of a project.
- Any other duties as assigned by the HOD.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 2 to 3 years of previous working experience in a similar environment.
Knowledge, Skills & Attitude
- Registration with the Council of Professional Engineers will be an advantage.
- Profound knowledge of the business/industry operations and processes.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office, Project Management Software and AutoCAD.
- Good written and verbal communication in both English and French.
- Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects.
- Ability to work precisely and having an eye for details.
- Ability to build relationship with stakeholders and work as a team.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- A valid driving licence for private car.
