Reporting to the Production Manager, the incumbent will initiate the job production and supervise the process of order confirmation from start to finish.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Initiate the job production by fully completing the Project on Odoo and fill the Check List at every stage of the job for each order.
  • Supervise orders by:

-        Issuing purchase orders.

-        Requesting a pre-production sample.

-        Follow up on general procedures until final delivery (this includes Quality Control and Logistics).

-        Assuring that deliveries are made in the agreed time frame.

-        Making a report for the Production Manager regarding rejects, over and under deliveries.

-        Controlling that suppliers’ invoices tally with company’s purchase orders.

-        Assure that all costs are recorded on Project

-        Sending to the Accounting Department the Project for down payment and/or final payment before delivery.

  • Prepare and send out a weekly Planning of Deliveries to selected suppliers.
  • Provide support to the Sales Team for sourcing of products.
  • Knowledge of Import & Export procedures is required
  • Control of stock
  • Administrative tasks
  • Any cognate duties

 

Job requirements

  • A Valid driver’s license is an advantage.

 

Technical Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good knowledge of printing techniques and the textile industry is a requirement.
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is an asset.
