This company is actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Product Manager to join our growing team in Ebene, Mauritius to support our Cards Acquiring team.

This position requires you to work and coordinate with our operations, product, financial partnership and compliance teams to understand and define the scheme requirements as part of our global acquiring expansion initiatives. You will also be responsible for analyzing scheme features/requirements in supporting new payment product launches while maintaining processing excellence. In addition to this, you will be building out processes within the team to scale and disseminate payments knowledge and best practice across the organization.


How you’ll make an impact:

  • Defining and delivering the Card Processing team’s strategy and product
  • Understanding the inner workings of domestic and international card schemes (not limited to) like Visa and MasterCard, and being able to support and contribute to product initiatives around the technical processing requirements.
  • Own all scheme related activities from features implementation, quarterly releases to compliance adherence and work with the engineering, payments operations and merchant care teams to mitigate any risks.
  • Drive and prioritize scheme mandates across the different teams in collaboration with the Financial Partnership team.
  • Responsible for providing clarification to commercial teams on new scheme features.
  • Proactively reaching out to schemes to investigate new features and opportunities in both emerging and established markets.
  • Serve as a key contributor / SME in the dissemination of payments knowledge across the organization and regularly keeping our payments knowledge base up to date.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years of experience of Product Management experience or related fields
  • Experience with Card Processing products, or working with: issuing, acquiring, online processing, or schemes/networks.
  • Able to convert business strategy into product vision and strategic priorities to drive product roadmap and execution
  • Have managed complex Products that have required you to work cross functionally across many teams and domains
  • Ideally have a technical background and are comfortable with technical detail and working very closely with engineering teams (Any exposure to SaaS or customer API’s would be a plus)
  • Able to translate customers needs into clear actionable solutions across complex technical and regulatory environments
  • Data-driven, you clearly define success metrics and measure progress against them
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation and listening skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences of varying levels.

Hybrid Working Model: Onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
