Procurement Officer
Procurement Officer will have the opportunity to work within the Commercial Division of Innodis Ltd.
Brief Duties and responsibilities:
- Prepare and update stock & sales figures of all Store Keeping Units (SKUs).
- Update accurately and maintain all buying and selling prices.
- Request and follow up of quotations from both local and foreign suppliers through close coordination.
- Place and follow up of orders with suppliers on a timely basis.
- Advise and liaise with storekeepers on expected vessel and products arrival.
- Ensure all documents are received before vessel’s Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) date.
- Verify receipts of products and liaise with store for any discrepancy.
- Apply and make sure all necessary permits are obtained prior importing.
- Prepare and follow up with Ministry of Commerce for price fixing of products.
Profile
The ideal candidate should:
- HSC holder with good results in Mathematics & Accounts (Diploma in Management will be an advantage)
- Excellent knowledge in Excel is a prerequisite
- Experience in import and freight preferred
- Good communication and inter personal skills
- Good planning and organization skills
- Result-driven and customer service oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
