The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible to manage Purchase Orders and supplier relationships and assist in drawing up RFQs / RFPs documents and release of Award Letters after obtaining all approvals.

 

•    To manage Purchase Orders within an Automated  system, ensuring expediting activities are undertaken to support business need;


•    To raise Purchase Orders (POs)/ Goods Receipt Note (GRNs), check accuracy of each order and close /cancel POs. 


•    To negotiate contracts, improve prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings;


•    To work with team members within procurement & facilities team and other Departments , on a proactive basis;

•    To establish and manage supplier relationships;

•    To request for quotations for purchases; 


•    To assist the Reporting Line Manager with the preparation of Request for Quotation/Requests for Proposals;     


•    To maintain appropriated records to ensure that procurement process, decision, and contractual   agreement   are   accurately   documented   for   accountability   and   audit purpose;


•    To document and record contracts and agreements;


•    To ensure compliance with existing policies and procedures of the Bank;


•    To document and maintain Supplier Due Diligence documentations;


•    To resolve any issues throughout the purchase cycle, as instructed by reporting line;


•    To assist in any other tasks & responsibilities as assigned from time to time by the reporting line managers;

•    To act as Secretary for relevant Committees to the Procurement Unit, whenever required.

Qualifications 

•    HSC with a minimum of 2 years directly related experience in Purchasing and
•    Diploma in Logistics, Procurement and Transport Management or Business administration or Finance, or a similar subject;
•    ACCA Level 1/CIPS Qualifications would be an advantage;
•    Any other qualifications acceptable to the Bank;
•    Knowledge of ERP /Cloud System would be an advantage.
