Porter/ Driver

Offers to guests a friendly, efficient and effective service at all times, as per Standards

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Welcome Guests arriving at the hotel and ensure that all luggage are placed in room before guest checks in
• Pick up luggage from rooms upon departure and bid farewell to Guests
• Ensure effective and efficient car / shuttle service
• Fetch and distribute incoming and outgoing mail for guests and internal messages and memos
• Drop and fetch Guests as and when required
• Ensure cold towel service opon Guest arrival
• Ensure efficient use of materials to minimise costs
• Follow up of all billing from taxi service
• Use the hotel club car for the transportation of luggage when necessary
• Ensure hotels’ vehicles are properly maintained parked and in good running condition
• Take part in training and implement accordingly
EXPERIENCE
• Theoretical knowledge (Form III) and/or prior professional experience
• Driving licence
• 1-2 Years experience in hospitality industry
• Fluent in English and French
Valid certificate of character
RESIDING STRICTLY IN THE FOLLOWING REGIONS:
The South (from Baie du Cap till Mahebourg) up to lower Plaine Wilhems(latest Rose Hill)
Excluding Beau Bassin till the north and East
