The Planning Officer – Fleet is responsible for supporting the Fleet Officer in planning, coordinating, and monitoring vehicle rentals and fleet utilization, ensuring efficient vehicle availability, cost control, and accurate reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assist in planning daily, weekly, and monthly vehicle rental requirements
- Coordinate vehicle allocation based on operational needs
- Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and scheduling
- Support fleet optimization to reduce downtime
- Assist in arranging vehicle rentals with approved stakeholders.
- Track rental contracts, durations, and extensions.
- Verify rental documentation and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepare fleet and rental usage reports for the Fleet Officer
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, rentals, and returns
- Assist in resolving rental or availability issues
- Support audits and inspections related to fleet operations
- Ensure adherence to fleet policies, safety standards, and procedures
- Maintain filing systems and fleet databases
- Perform other fleet-related administrative tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in planning field
- At least HSC or equivalent
- Experience in planning
- Proficient with computer applications and CRM systems
- Proficient in French and English
- Valid driving license
- Holder of a clean
