Shangri-La Le Touessrok, Mauritius is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Specialist to join our HR team who will play a key role in ensuring accurate payroll management and effective benefits administration, while also supporting strategic HR reporting and analysis.
As a Payroll Specialist, we rely on you to:
- Prepare and maintain productivity reports to support business decision-making.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Oversee leave management systems and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Maintain payroll documentation and ensure records are up to audit requirements.
- Monitor and manage employee attendance.
- Prepare and monitor payroll budgets and other payroll-related costs.
- Prepare monthly payroll forecasts based on business requirements.
- Oversee recruitment costs and monitor against approved budgets.
- Conduct regular reporting and data analysis related to compensation and benefits.
- Support the HR team with other tasks related to employee compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Qualifications, skills, and experience:
- Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Experience in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and financial reporting will be a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office (particularly Excel).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
