The Lux Collective is hiring for the position of PUBLIC RELATIONS & MARKETING COORDINATOR at its Head Office based at Tribeca.

The Public Relations & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible to promote a positive image of the organisation and enhance its reputation through various media channels. The role will also be responsible for developing relationships with the media, crafting press releases, and coordinating with stakeholders to create effective communication strategies.

The successful incumbent will be responsible to:

  • Support projects and initiatives to expand public awareness, drive audience engagement and amplify our brands.
  • Partner closely with colleagues throughout the group to communication on our brands program and ensure excellent executive of marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the creative studio manager for seamless alignment of project and production management, timelines, and workflows.
  • Support the relevant projects, related to sales, marketing, PR and communications as an integral part of the set marketing plan.
  • Coordinate photo shoot planning and delivery of assets to the marketing team.
  • Gather and maintain assets, including exhibition checklists, imagery, and other key information.
  • Coordinate press/influencer prior and during visits including, but not limited to, creating itineraries, conducting site inspections and reporting.
  • Assist with overall daily duties, to support the Sales & Marketing team.
  • Liaise with PR agencies, journalists and other partners when needed to distribute information, additional details, and answer to/review written interviews.
  • Boost brand awareness, assure consistent brand message and leverage social media activity by creating visually appealing creatives and posting daily.
  • Ensure property/brand presence within the local market.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • Tertiary education at Degree Level in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Tourism from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.

PREVIOUS PERFORMANCE

  • A minimum of 3 year of working experience in the hospitality industry preferably with luxury brands.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • A high degree of initiative and attention to detail, with an ability to manage and prioritise multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent writing and editing, project management, and research skills.

  • Profoundly passionate about marketing and social media.
  • Highly interactive, people friendly and a great team player.
  • Flexible with a ' can do' attitude.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in both English and French languages.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package. 
  • Confident and outgoing personality with willingness and passion to learn more.
  • A clean certificate of character is a must.
