Our client, a leader in the building contractor and construction sector is seeking to recruit an Operations Manager who will report to the COO.
The ideal candidate will be a highly customer-centric leader capable of articulating and implementing a compelling vision for an elevated customer experience in the B2C sphere.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to analyze clients needs in the ‘domestic construction’ market segment.
- Identify potential market segments and devise strategies to grow revenue and profitability.
- Manage site teams profitably and ensure that projects are completed safely within budgets and time allowed.
- Prepare and submit business plan and annual budgets to Management.
- Recruit and select teams at operative & supervisory level for projects execution.
- Devise incentive schemes with the Human Capital department to encourage staff retention.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance of teams.
- Train operatives to increase efficiency and ensure cross-functional training.
- Devise a system to measure customer satisfaction and receive feedback.
- Set up an online platform to manage customers enquires and requests for quotations.
- Evaluate the feasibility and potential risks assessment of projects.
- Promote a culture of entrepreneurship and encourage employees to generate and pursue innovative ideas.
Profile:
- Master's degree in management or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in managing a startup.
- Experience in the construction sector would be an advantage.
- Customer centric with exceptional project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- At ease with digital channels and customer experience.
