Handles PPE inventory and deliveries, follows up on purchase requests, conducts inspections, updates OSH trackers, verifies firefighting equipment, assists with legal gap analysis and risk assessments, provides inductions, and prepares chemical safety instructions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- PPE inventory
- Record delivery of PPE as and when required
- Follow up on pending purchase requisition based on Purchase Requisition tracker
- To request quotes from suppliers as and when required
- Systematic daily inspection in all sections of the factory and do reporting
- Filling up OSH tracker
- Monthly verification of all firefighting equipments, Including testing of all fire horse reels
- Assist in gap analysis of all legal obligations
- To make of list employees to be examined by the doctor on a weekly basis
- Assist in risk assessment and report
- Induction of new stakeholders at LFL
- Prepare Chemical safe working instruction based on MSDS
Qualification and Profile :
- Holder of a Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety/ Human Resources or any relevant qualification
- Result-oriented with a ‘Can Do’ attitude
- Dynamic, detail-conscious and well organized
- Good interpersonal communication skills (spoken & written) in French & English
- Willing to learn and grow with the team
- Capable of displaying a high level of confidentiality
