We’re looking for a Nursery Cashier to join our vibrant team and be the welcoming face at our nursery! If you're someone who enjoys helping others, loves nature, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this could be your perfect role.

Your main duties will include:

Cashiering Duties

• Operate the POS system to handle sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Accurately process cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Keep the checkout area neat, stocked, and welcoming.
• Issue receipts and help customers with payment-related queries.
• Reconcile the cash register at day’s end.

Plant Sales Assistance

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with product selection.
• Share knowledge on plant care, gardening tools, and trends.
• Help locate items around the nursery and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Stay informed on new arrivals and seasonal offerings.

Customer Service Excellence

• Provide top-notch support by answering questions and resolving issues quickly.
• Handle returns and exchanges with care and professionalism.
• Offer product recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction.

You're someone who enjoys being around peopleandplants! To succeed in this role, you should have:

✔️ 1–2 years of retail or customer service experience (nursery/garden center experience a plus)

✔️ Basic plant and gardening knowledge

✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

✔️ POS and basic cash-handling abilities

✔️ A proactive attitude with a love for helping others

✔️ Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting when needed

✔️ Bonus: Certification in horticulture or plant care

✔️ A valid and clean driving license
