Key Responsabilities
Safety and Security
Immediately report any work-related accidents or injuries to a supervisor.
Adhere to all company and departmental safety and emergency procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Remain vigilant to any suspicious individuals or activities on the premises and report accordingly.
Identify and report unsafe working conditions or practices to appropriate personnel.
Policies and Procedures
Protect the confidentiality and privacy of guests, coworkers, and company information.
Follow all company guidelines, including uniform, grooming, and equipment usage standards.
Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Guest Relations
Greet and acknowledge guests warmly, using names when possible.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest needs, concerns, or complaints using brand-specific service recovery techniques.
Anticipate guest preferences and personalize service where possible.
Provide assistance to guests with disabilities in accordance with company guidelines.
Offer local area knowledge and property information to enhance the guest experience.
Communication
Use clear, professional, and courteous communication with guests and team members.
Answer phones following proper etiquette and protocol.
Communicate work matters discreetly and professionally in appropriate settings.
Teamwork and Collaboration
Foster a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.
Assist and support coworkers to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
Handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion.
Operational Tasks
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including verifying guest identity, processing payments, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
Maintain accurate guest records, billing, and room status in property management systems (e.g., OPERA, FOSSE).
Coordinate room readiness and guest needs with Housekeeping and other departments.
Process guest requests, transportation arrangements, and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
Run daily reports, handle recordkeeping, and monitor financial transactions.
Cash Handling
Manage a cash drawer, process various forms of payment, and reconcile cash/receipts at the end of shifts according to accounting procedures.
Security and Incident Reporting
Notify appropriate departments regarding thefts, safety issues, or other incidents involving guests or property assets.
