Auto Mechanic/Technician Grade 1: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles. Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Requires strong technical skills and experience with modern tools.
We're recruiting.
Honda Mauritius is seeking to recruit adequate candidates to fulfil the following roles:
Mechanic/Technician Grade I.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with a focus on quality and efficiency.
- Use computerised diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electronic and mechanical systems.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in line with safety and manufacturer standards.
- Identify complex problems and implement structured solutions.
- Provide accurate technical reports and updates to supervisors.
Knowledge & Experience
- At least a Diploma in Automotive Mechanic or BTS Mecanique from a recognised institution.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge in electronic systems using computer diagnostic equipment.
- Certification in Electric/Hybrid Vehicles would be an advantage.

- High level of analytical skills
- Makes concrete use of their technical knowledge
- Can handle complex issues
- Works on problems in a structured manner
- Uses technological aids systematically
- Candidate must be detail-oriented and display good logical-thinking and mechanical skills.
- Monday to Friday: 7.45 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday: 7.45 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.
