About the Opportunity 

The Senior Marketing Operations Business Partner is a hands-on leader who serves as a trusted advisor to our Marketing & Communications leaders supporting a global marketing organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations, you will be responsible for partnering with marketing leaders, building strong relationships with other functional departments to influence decisions, driving process optimization and improving the overall marketing program. Ultimately, youwill drive business transformation and operational excellence, while aligning our marketing strategy and program with sales and the overall company’s objective. 

What you’ll get to do 

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to the business with credibility and influence, from strategy to execution.
  • Immerse yourself into the business, understand the strategic vision and learn current operations, so that you can ultimately be seen as part of the leadership team.
  • Help with yearly marketing planning by reviewing business performance every quarter, supporting budgeting, analyzing ROI, and ensuring the marketing calendar aligns with sales and company goals.
  • Analyze the marketing funnel to identify risks or opportunities and provide actionable recommendations based on quantitative data.
  • Simplify and optimize reports/dashboards or related infrastructure – make consumption of reports/dashboards accessible and relevant for senior leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve marketing program effectiveness. Coordinate cross-functionally to deliver process improvements, playbooks, toolkits, and skills development.
  • Work with IT, Sales, Strategy, and Finance teams to improve processes, define business requirements, maintain accurate data, and measure ROI of campaigns/programs.
  • Encourage best practices in measuring marketing program performance by collaborating with marketers to develop and evaluate their programs.
  • Create leader-ready presentations with accurate data and relevant insights.
  • Support strategic projects, as required.

Skills and Experience we Value 

  • Strong technical proficiency with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics platforms
  • Salesforce.com reporting & analytics experience required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across functions and levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA an asset
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or management consulting
  • Experience supporting a B2B Marketing function and possess a strong understanding of the mechanics behind both sales & marketing functions (i.e. lead lifecycle, opportunity creation & sales stages, forecasting etc.)
  • Experience with other Sales & Marketing technology such as Marketo, Bizible, Gong, ZoomInfo an asset
  • Experience working with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau an asset 
  • Working hours: Night Shift (5pm- 2am)
