Marketing & Communication Lead
Our client is looking to recruit a Marketing & Communication Lead to join their sales department. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Sales Manager.
Position Objective
- Assist the Sales Manager in the delivery of his/her duties laying specific emphasis on digital marketing and traditional media management.
- Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the organization’s external communication.
- Provide day-to-day marketing and communication support to the Sales Manager and team.
Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis (Marketing Intelligence):
- Ensure positioning of products in retail outlets and prospecting.
- Accompany Sales team for visits.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities, threats and propose strategic insights.
- Use market insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Contribute to business dashboards and executive reports
Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain the company's brand image and identity.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
- Implement brand guidelines and standards.
Coordination:
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, ensuring timely and effective execution.
- Monitor campaign performance and adjust as needed.
- Events budget management.
Project Management:
- Coordinate events, launches, sponsorships, and activations
- Ensure timely follow-up and reporting on each marketing project
- Track effectiveness and ROI of each campaign
- Work with third-party providers (graphic designers, printers, agencies, etc.)
Collaboration:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies.
- Assist in the budget preparation and sales presentations.
- Participate in monthly sales meetings and contribute insights.
Digital Marketing & Communication:
- Manage the digital platform of DMX in order to promote the brand and ensure visibility by:
- Developing clear communication plans and calendars for the year.
- Planning with concerned parties the post, products to be promoted.
- Respecting the planning.
- Assist in various digital marketing initiatives.
- Executing paid and organic campaigns to increase visibility and leads.
Content Creation:
- Create marketing support tools to assist the sales team (brochures, datasheets, pitch decks).
- Create and edit marketing materials, including promotional content, advertisements and product collateral.
- Develop engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing channels.
Communication:
- Plan as a team the events for the year.
- Develop, execute and oversee comprehensive communications strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
- Develop engaging and clear communication materials.
- Assistance in internal communication including TV, notice boards, etc…
Health & Safety:
- Ensure that Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are documented and communicated to concerned parties (Employees and subcontractors) and that they are strictly followed.
- Ensure that Health and Safety remains the utmost priority for the department and sensitizes staff and employees regularly on its importance.
- Monitor Health and Safety norms and regulations
Qualifications
Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training:
Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or a related field.
Minimum Experience:
3 to 5 years in a similar position
Desired Experience:
At least 3 years’ experience in the construction sector
