We are seeking for a Manager – Risk & Ethics to lead the Risk Management Framework, reinforce ethical culture, liaise with Board, Group, auditors, and regulator, deliver risk reports, and drive training. The role ensures compliance, resilience, and integrity across the organisation.
Job Description
- Responsible for the risk management function defined in Rule 12 of the Insurance (Risk Management) Rules 2016:
Which inter alia includes:
- Assisting Board , Board Committees, and management in developing and maintaining the Risk Management Framework(RMF)
- Determining the risk culture of the organisation and providing management with leadership and guidance to achieve the desired risk culture
- Liaise with the Group in adaptation of risk policies appropriate to the local context within the regulatory framework and in line with Group Enterprise Risk Management policy and strategy
- Provide quarterly Risk Reports to the Board Sub-Committee, Management, and the Group
- Organise training whether internal or through outsourcing to deepen knowledge on ethics & risks
- Liaise with the External Auditors and Independent Actutary on their annual review and reporting on the solvency status and effectivemens of RMF
- Submit annually to the Regulator the complete set of Documentation on RMF and independent Reports
- Ensure implementation of the defined Protection & Resilience requirements by the Group’s Standards and Functional Rules in collaboration with other departments
- Reinforcing and making sure that the group’s standards on ethics and integrity and internal procedures are maintained.
- Review and make recommendations on management programs established to monitor ethical risks.
- Other cognate duties that support development of risk culture as may be requested by Management ,Board Sub Committee, and the Group.
