Plan, schedule, manage and supervise the programs and activities of the Club One department.
Job Summary:
Directs and implements corporate strategies and day-to-day performance of the Club One’s activities. Lead the Club One team to provide a sustainable level of excellence in character, customer service and execution of job duties. Assists guest with positive lifestyle changes related to health-related physical fitness, be pro-active, preventive, inspiring and show initiative at all times.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire the best in others.
- Exceptional organizational and strong communication skills.
- Provide a well-managed, safe, enthusiastic, positive sport environment with equipment in a clean, orderly facility.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems in the best interest of the Club One department.
- Trains new Club One employees and provides ongoing training for all the Club One staffs.
- To actively market and upsell Club One activities within the resort.
- Dealing effectively with guest complaints and requests for all age groups and disabilities.
- To achieve and maintain the standards of excellence set forth by the company, have full knowledge of the company’s Sport, Kids and Teens standards.
- Responsible for supervising the monthly maintenance of all the equipment and materials, keep tight records and regularly inspect all Club One facilities within the resort.
- Plans and monitor Club One promotions/ advertisements, specialized Club One activities for special events.
- Manage roster and manning, ensuring staffing levels is adequate to handle business volume
- Ensure the supervisor’s co-ordinate their staffs to ensure the delivery of exceptional Club One Services.
- Attend daily operations Meeting.
- Conduct morning line up.
- May not make policy or procedural changes without prior approval of the Director, Human Resources.
- May not make statements to the press.
- May not authorize salary and wages adjustments.
- May not make changes to or in any way concerning standard operation procedures without authority of the Director, Human Resources
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- Exceptional leadership, organization, communication and customer service skills.
- Minimum of 4 years in a hospitality sport and fitness environment.
- Internationally recognized Sports, Health and fitness-related diploma and/or degree.
- Aquatic lifesaving qualification ( including current adult/child CPR, AED and standard first aid)
- Above average fitness level with the ability to engage in a variety of training modalities and sporting events.
