Management Accountant
Our client is looking for a Management Accountant
Job Specifications:
- Prepare and review of subsidiary management accounts to provide analysis of business value drivers and KPIs for the Business Units (“BU’’)/ Group
- Producing key divisional performance reports including monthly business review with supporting analysis for each BU
- Liaising effectively with key BU contacts to build strong relationships and improve the quality of the information produced
- Enquire on matters requiring attention
- Preparing and/or reviewing financial statements
- Preparing and/or reviewing tax computations
- Bookkeeping and preparing reconciliations as and when required
- Prepare monthly management accounts pack as and when required
- Assist in the audit process of both subsidiaries and Group
- Assist with other duties of the accounts department
- Assist in the budgeting process/preparing budget information for management
- Providing support & analysis to other teams e.g Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, Group Reporting, Tax etc
- Any other cognate duties
Experience & Professional Qualification
- Progressive Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in a hands-on Management Accountant or Financial Accountant role.
- Certification: Actively pursuing or holding a recognized professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) at a part-qualified (Level 3 minimum) or fully qualified status
Technical Expertise
- Core Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP) is essential.
- ERP Systems: Demonstrated experience working with major ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as Microsoft Dynamics

- Analytical Acumen: Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities—you can find the story hidden within the numbers.
- Communication & Drive: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to present financial findings clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- Resilience & Commitment: The capacity to work under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines during peak periods (e.g., month-end close). Flexibility is required, including the readiness to work odd hours on an ad-hoc basis to ensure critical deliverables are met.
