KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate equipment data, asset locations, work order statuses, and historical maintenance records within the Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS).
- Monitor, assign, and track work orders from creation to completion, ensuring timely closure and proper documentation.
- Use CMMS data to identify trends, optimise workflows, and support the transition towards predictive maintenance.
- Generate reports on maintenance costs, downtime, performance metrics, and compliance for management.
- Support the implementation of a cost‑effective predictive maintenance program.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance planning, ensuring availability of required resources (parts, labour, tools).
- Support inspections, diagnose issues, and help implement strategies to improve equipment uptime and lifespan.
- Manage spare parts inventory, track stock levels, and forecast needs to prevent operational downtime.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities.
- Evaluate repair requirements and communicate any impact on production.
- Ensure proper follow‑ups with technicians and verify completion of assigned tasks.
- Conduct daily verification of equipment checklists and promptly report deviations from set standards.
- Assist management in the optimal implementation of improvement or technical projects.
- Help identify improvement opportunities and support project‑related changes.
- Assist in project communication and resource coordination.
- Contribute to interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Health & Safety policies, regulations, and best practices.
- Communicate Safety & Health procedures to employees and subcontractors and ensure strict adherence.
- Promote a safety‑first culture and regularly sensitize staff to health and safety priorities.
- Monitor safety norms and actively engage team members in S6 improvement programmes.
- Support root‑cause analysis of non‑conformities and help implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Ensure procedures are consistently followed to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Propose procedure reviews or improvements to enhance service quality.
- Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication with all stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Holder of an HSC.
- Holder of a BT Production et Maintenance Industrielle / Diploma in Applied Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- At least 1 to 2 years experience in a similar post with a sound knowledge of troubleshooting in Mechanical, Electrical & Automation environment
- Valid Driving License.
- Availability to work odd hours
