Maintenance Officer

We are looking for an all rounder Maintenance Officer who is skilled in performing day to day repairs and maintenance Minimum 3 years in similar position Good skills in electrics

Your main roles and responsibilities will be, but not limited to:

in charge of maintenance of buildings and premises meaning;

(a)   capable of using and maintaining the tools of the trade;

(b)   install, maintain and repair electrical wirings and related equipment; and

(c)    read and understand simple wiring diagrams;

(d)   capable of using and maintaining the tools of the trade;

(e)   construct any structure, building or shuttering for concrete work;

(f)     inspect and report on the state of repairs of any wooden structure; and

(g)   make completely wooden articles, effect repairs and refashion wooden articles;

(h)   deal with the properties and application of the various types of paints, enamels, stains, varnishes and polishes;

(i)     deal with fillers and thinning paint; and

(j)     use primers and undercoats;

(k)    assemble, install and maintain pipe fittings and fixtures of drainage, heating and cooling systems;

(l)     cut passage holes for pipes;

(m)  cut, ream, thread, bend and join pipes and test them for leaks;

(n)   install fixtures and do repair and maintenance work;

(o)   perform repair works on air conditioning and refrigeration system and equipment;

(p)   attend to the cleaning of sewerage plant or waste water treatment plant and perform minor repairs on them;

(q)   carry out all forms of welding in mild steel and structural steel, and uses oxyacetylene torch and electric arc welding for simple cutting and welding; and

(r)     do concrete works, align blocks with level and plumb line, apply plaster;

(s)    Clean swimming pool;

(t)     monitor and maintain record of pool water and water tanks measurements;

(u)   engaged in carrying luggage;

(v)    attend to guests generally; and

(w)   to be responsible for the cleanliness of your place of work.
