The Maintenance Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems.
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs, issues, and areas of improvement.
- Planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities, repairs, and preventive measures to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity of assets and infrastructure.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting problems, and addressing emergency repairs or breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborating with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors to source materials, equipment, and services, obtain quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage maintenance projects within budget and timelines.
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation, and maintenance logs to track work orders, activities, expenses, and compliance with regulatory standards and industry guidelines.
- Implementing and adhering to maintenance protocols, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize risks.
