Job Duties:
- Plans short and long term objectives of the Maintenance Department in collaboration with Hotel Management as well as the Corporate Office and organises the department according to management directives, in conformity with the hotel policies, procedures and standards.
- Plans, coordinates, controls and supervises departmental activities
- Ensures that equipment and material are in good running conditions at all times and reports any malfunctioning for remedial action and follow-up. To this effect, liaises with the Corporate Office to establish and maintain an effective preventive maintenance Programme
- Plans for the installation of equipment and estimates extensive maintenance works and repairs.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Management
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Renewable Energy / Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics) or an equivalent qualification in the same field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Managerial position, preferably with experience in the hotel sector.
- Knowledge of Labour, Occupational Safety & Health and other relevant legislation.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with strong experience in leading large technical teams.
- A dynamic and charismatic leader with a hands-on attitude and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication skills to deal with team and with top Management level.
- A proactive team player with the ability to identify safety risks and address risks within the shortest delay.
