Maintenance Coordinator

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to keep our laundry machines running smoothly. You’ll work closely with technicians, support repairs, follow up breakdowns, and help minimise downtime.

We are looking for a hands-on Maintenance Coordinator to ensure the smooth daily operation of our laundry plant. The role focuses on coordinating and supporting maintenance works on industrial laundry equipment, responding quickly to breakdowns, and ensuring machines are kept in safe and working condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on daily maintenance activities on laundry machines (washers, dryers, ironers, folding machines, boilers, compressors, etc.)
• Be present on the shop floor to identify faults, assist technicians, and ensure repairs are completed on time
• Log breakdowns, allocate tasks, and follow up until issues are resolved
• Support preventive maintenance by ensuring scheduled servicing is carried out
• Liaise with suppliers and external technicians for specialised repairs
• Monitor spare parts usage and request replenishment when needed
• Ensure machines are properly tested and released back into production after repairs
• Enforce basic health and safety practices during maintenance works
• Keep simple and accurate maintenance records (breakdowns, repairs, parts used)

Requirements

• Technical qualification or solid practical experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance
• Previous hands-on experience in an industrial, factory, or laundry environment will be an advantage
• Ability to diagnose basic machine faults and coordinate corrective action
• Comfortable working on the shop floor and responding to urgent breakdowns
• Good communication skills to work with operators, technicians, and supervisors
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required (breakdowns, peak operations)
