Machine Operator (Excavator on Track)

RRCL is recruiting a Permanent Heavy Machine Operator (Excavator). He will report directly to the Logistics Manager.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance tasks on excavator, such as lubrication, fuelling, and cleaning of the equipment
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of the equipment in different terrains and environments.
• Familiarity with controls and features of excavators to optimize performance. 
• Conduct routine inspections of the excavator to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues promptly.
• Operate an excavator safely and efficiently for earthwork on track
• Carry out excavation operations in accordance with terrain and safety protocols
• Monitor and control material loading based on equipment specifications

Requirements:

• Able to work independently.
• Able to work odd hours
• Ability to work in team, be proactive, take initiatives and handle pressure
• A valid driving license
