Machine Operator

QBL is seeking a reliable and skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to established procedures and safety regulations.

The key responsibilities and tasks will include the following:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machines in the production plant
• To perform manual tasks involving physical and mental skills to attend to and/or operate a machine as per instructions.
• Ensure production programme is followed as per instructions of supervisors.
• Ensure that machines are running in a proper condition by following carefully work instructions.
• Follow and apply all scheduled maintenance and repairs programmes by giving necessary assistance to technical team.
• Be conversant with and apply all safety and quality system put in place by Management as improvement processes.
• Any other cognate duties.

 Requirements and skills:

• Minimum School Certificate and NTC 3 certification
• Proven experience as a machine operator
• Understanding of production procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• Ability to work on shift and odd hours
