MONEY PROCESSING OPERATOR

Purpose With speed and accuracy, the Money Processing Operator authenticate, count, and sort cash of our clients for deposits. Should be able to work on shift system - Day/Night

• Ensure compliance with governance rules such as SOX, Health & Safety and Brinks policies
• Receive and verify client packages as distributed by the team leaders
• Open packages, count and authenticate bank notes and coins
• Ensure that the amount announced on the slips corresponds to the amount counted – where it does not tally, escalate to the team leader
• After processing, the cash counted should be returned to the central cash counter
• Inform management of any anomaly detected
• Respect the procedures established and approved by the management
• Enter counted amounts in the relevant system
• Prepare customer orders and ensure that the documents are as per the norms and standards required
• Participate in central cash reconciliation process
