(MAU) Tax Implementation Coordinator I

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to become a crucial member of our Dayforce implementation team, serving as the primary contact for new customers throughout their tax and banking setup. In this role, you’ll oversee the setup of tax profiles, banking details, and ensure a smooth transition to support, allowing Dayforce to facilitate bulk tax return filings on our customers’ behalf.

This position serves as a key “first impression” in the customer onboarding process, contributing significantly to fulfilling our promise of delivering quantifiable value to our customers while “making work life better.”

 

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Collaborate with customers and internal Dayforce implementation teams throughout the process — from kickoff to transition — for tax and banking onboarding.
  • Execute the setup of each customer’s tax profile within core record-keeping systems, proactively initiating and tracking required tax, banking, and funding forms.
  • Maintain accuracy and prompt follow-up on customer information to meet go-live dates and internal timelines.
  • Coordinate back-office testing and funding setup between the Dayforce application and internal systems as part of the customer onboarding process.
  • Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of Dayforce product functionality and payroll tax principles.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects to address setup or process challenges, maintaining project plans and clear communication throughout.
  • Ensure adherence to implementation SLAs, KPIs, and contractual terms.
  • Proactively identify and report risks during the setup process to ensure timely triage and resolution.
  • Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding tax setup progress.
  • Facilitate meetings with key client stakeholders to ensure a smooth handoff from implementation to support.

 

Skills and Experience We Value

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience in payroll, tax, or customer service preferred.
  • Project management experience or certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Solid understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Experience in Payroll/Tax (primarily US/CAN).
  • Night shift role: 16.00/17.00 till 01.00/02.00

 

What Would Make You Really Stand Out

  • Strong customer service communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outlook.
  • French as a second language is a plus.
  • Prior experience in U.S. tax processing or payroll tax operations
