Lorry Driver - 5T

Emcar Tyres is looking for an experienced lorry driver with valid driving license of 5T.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely drive the 5-ton truck to deliver and collect tyres and other materials to/from customers, suppliers, or branches as instructed.

• Load and unload goods with care, ensuring the correct items are delivered and returned, with proper documentation.

• Ensure all delivery documents (invoices, delivery notes, customer signatures) are properly filled, signed, and returned to the relevant department.

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness (oil, water, brakes, tyres, etc.).

• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the supervisor immediately.

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle at all times.

• Follow scheduled routes and timings while adapting to any last-minute changes from the Logistics team.

• Provide excellent customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Emcar Tyres when interacting with customers.

• Adhere strictly to traffic rules, regulations, and Emcar’s safety procedures.

• Assist in other general logistics or warehouse tasks as may be required.

Qualification & Experience:

• Valid and clean driving license for 5T truck (minimum required category).

• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar industry (tyres or automotive parts).

• Good understanding of delivery routes across Mauritius.

• Minimum Fom 4 education level.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting is an advantage.
