Logistics Co-Ordinator (Fuel & Fleet Management)

The purpose of this role is to assist in the day-to-day logistics operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of diesel to our clients.

NB:  This role calls for extended hours of work during harvest season.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Logistics and Operations Manager in planning and executing logistics strategies.
• Co-ordinate and monitor the transportation and delivery of diesel to clients.
• Assist in scheduling and managing deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on delivery status and address and concerns.
• Assist in the monitoring and optimisation utilization of lorries.
• Ensure that Logistics and Operations are informed of all matters that could affect smooth running of the oeprations.
• Liaise and follow up with suppliers and clients on any issues that impact smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements in all logistics operations.

•  Diploma in lLogistics, Management or related field.
• 3 years' experience as Logistics Co-ordinator or similar role.
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
