Currimjee Real Estate Ltd is looking for a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented Leasing Coordinator to join its Asset & Property Management team on a six-month temporary contract.
In this role, you will support the leasing function by managing the full tenant lifecycle, from acquisition to exit, ensuring smooth coordination, regulatory compliance, and an excellent tenant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare lease agreements using company templates and as instructed by senior management.
- Collect and verify required tenant documentation in line with AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance checklists.
- Conduct pre-billing checks and manage the tenant onboarding process in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure collection of deposits, insurance, and all tenancy-related requirements prior to occupancy.
- Accurately input lease agreements and tenant information into the company’s software system.
- Ensure lease agreements are duly signed and all supporting documentation is complete and verified.
- Process rental applications and lease renewals efficiently.
- Maintain and update tenant files, including system coding and documentation tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of Leasing KPI reports.
- Ensure tenant files remain up to date, including deposit top-ups, rent escalations, insurance certificates, and compliance documentation.
- Maintain accurate tenant records in line with company procedures.
- Log and update customer complaints and service requests in the system.
- Follow up on customer service matters and assist in preparing CRM reports, ensuring timely resolution and feedback tracking.
- Coordinate lease renewals and tenant exits in compliance with company policies.
- Liaise with tenants and the facilities team to ensure completion of installations and required sign-offs.
- Prepare and dispatch monthly billing and rental payment letters, with appropriate follow-up.
Candidate Profile
- HSC and/or Degree holder will be an advantage.
- At least one year of experience in an administrative role (experience in the leasing or real estate sector will be an advantage).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational and planning skills with attention to detail.
- Proactive, solution-driven, and customer-oriented mindset.
