Landscaping Manager

Landscaping Manager oversee the design, upkeep, and enhancement of all outdoor areas within the hotel premises.

• Coordinate daily landscaping and gardening operations across the hotel’s grounds.
• Design, implement, and maintain attractive and sustainable outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, water features, and recreational areas.
• Ensure that all outdoor areas reflect the hotel’s image and provide a positive impression for guests.
• Manage landscaping staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee the health and appearance of plants, trees, and turf through proper horticultural practices.
• Monitor irrigation systems and use of fertilizers in line with environmental and safety standards.
• Collaborate with hotel management and other departments (e.g., Events, Housekeeping) to support special functions.
• Control budgets for landscaping projects, supplies, and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare regular reports on landscaping activities and improvement plans.

Qualifications and skills

• Experience in a similar position, with knowledge of horticulture, plant diseases, pesticides, and irrigation systems. 

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. 

• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 

• Computer literacy (e.g., Word, Excel) and a valid driver's license are often required.
